Repair Guidelines & Eligibility
We repair all VVRSE items that were crafted or finished in our California studio.
A. Complimentary Repair (Within One Year of Purchase)
- Eligibility: Repair must be needed due to a manufacturing defect, and the request must be made within one (1) year of the original purchase date.
- Cost to You: You pay only for round-trip shipping. We cover all repair labor and parts.
- Exclusions: This complimentary repair service is offered at our discretion and does not constitute a formal warranty. It does not cover damage resulting from: misuse or improper handling, accidents or impacts, chemical exposure, extreme environments, natural aging of materials, normal wear and tear, unauthorized repairs and alterations, or any other causes not attributable to VVRSE craftsmanship.
B. Standard Repair (After One Year & Non-Defect Damage)
If your piece either falls outside the one-year window or the damage isn’t due to a defect, we offer standard repair services (labor, replacement parts, and shipping costs apply).
Services We Offer
- Restringing or resizing of beaded or pearl necklaces and bracelets
- Tightening of earring charms and jewelry components
- Replacement of failed parts (subject to availability). If a component is no longer available, we will recommend a comparable alternative or discuss other options.
What’s Not Included
- Routine cleaning or polishing (see our Materials & Care Guide for maintenance tips).
- Repairs on non-VVRSE jewelry, items purchased from our store but were not made in our studio, or pieces altered or repaired by another jeweler.
Repair requests are evaluated case by case and may be declined if they fall outside our capacity.
How to Submit a Repair Request
Step 1: Email Us
Send a message to customer@vvrse.com with the following:
- Your order number or other proof-of-purchase
- Name or description of the item that needs repair
- If more than one piece needs repair, please list each item
- Clear, high-resolution photo(s) of the item(s) in its current condition
- A brief description of the issue and the services needed for each item
Step 2: Review & Quote
We’ll assess your request and respond within 3–5 business days with:
- A total cost estimate, including labor, parts, and round-trip shipping with full insurance (the quote is valid for 10 days)
- An expected timeline for completion
Step 3: Ship with Ease
Once you approve the quote:
- We’ll send you an invoice covering the repair (if applicable) and shipping costs
- Upon payment, you will receive a service order confirmation and a prepaid, fully insured shipping label.
- Securely pack your jewelry with ample padding, and include:
- Your service order confirmation
- Your contact information
- Your return shipping address
- Affix the prepaid label and drop off your package at the designated carrier.
Step 4: Return Shipping
When repairs are complete, we’ll return your piece(s) via insured delivery.
Shipping Insurance & Risk of Loss
Shipping insurance is included by default on our prepaid shipping labels for both inbound and outbound shipments. If you choose to opt out, coverage will be removed. In that case, you assume all risk of loss or damage to your item(s) from the moment you hand them over to the carrier, and again when we hand them back to the carrier for return shipping.
We strongly recommend insuring your package for its full declared value for both inbound and outbound shipments. We are not responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
Fairness & Discretion
While we aim to assist every customer, we reserve the right to respectfully decline service if a request falls outside our repair guidelines or capabilities.
